What is the Accelerate Acro Convention?
The Accelerate Acro Convention is the largest AcroDance event in the world, designed for dancers aged 6 and up. It features a variety of workshops, performances, and opportunities to learn from top instructors.
Where will the convention take place in Boston?
All classes will take place at Mass Premier Courts 97 Green St, Foxborough, MA
Where will the convention take place in Phoenix?
All classes will take place at Higley High School, 4068 E Pecos Rd, Gilbert, AZ.
Where will the convention take place in Lakeland?
All classes will take place at the RP Funding Center, 701 W Lime St, Lakeland, FL.

How do I register for the convention?
Complete one registration package per studio (to earn teacher discounts). Individual registrations are also accepted for those whose studios are not attending as a group. Read the TEACHER & OBSERVER INFORMATION section for more.
When does registration open?
Registration opens on February 3, 2026 at 12 PM EST.
Open rate pricing ends on May 31, 2026. As of June 1, 2026 regular pricing will be in effect.
Are refunds available?
Refunds will not be granted.
What is the waiver policy?
All registrants must complete a waiver prior to the convention. NO EXCEPTIONS! Participants without a completed waiver will not be permitted to participate.
Can Acrobatic Arts change a participant’s level placement?
Yes, Acrobatic Arts has the right to change a participant’s level placement if necessary. Students will not be permitted to participate in skills deemed unsafe by the class instructor or convention director(s).
What should students bring to the convention?
All students are responsible for their own lunch and should bring a water bottle and healthy snacks.

What discounts are available for Teachers?

How can I book accommodation for the convention?

What is the Tempus production?
Tempus is a special performance choreographed by Derek Piquette that showcases both amateur and professional dancers. The production takes place on Saturday evening during each convention.
How can I audition for Tempus?
Auditions for Tempus are open until April 1, 2026. Dancers can submit a digital video audition to be considered for a role in the production.
What age categories are available for Tempus auditions?
The audition categories are:
– Mini Jr (ages 6-10)
– Jr (ages 11-12)
– Teen (ages 13-15)
– Senior (ages 16+)
How will dancers chosen for Tempus learn the choreography?
Dancers selected for Tempus will receive the choreography via video to learn in advance. There will also be a mandatory rehearsal on the Friday before the convention starts.
